KANDYCO was born from the love and passion of not only distributing toys, but to bring to life completely original, creative toys that have never seen the light before. It’s at the heart and core of each of our awesome team members that we bring the sizzle and the quality.

Started by Dean and Katrin Tzembelikos, KANDYCO is a 3rd generation toy company with roots that go back to the 1960s when Dean’s grandfather Norman Meyers, who started Pines of America – a company that eventually became Power Wheels. 

Norman’s son, Jon Meyers then joined the industry working with Bandai HK in the 1990s during the power rangers boom, before founding his own company JONANDO, an international sales rep agency for multiple toy companies..

Eventually, Dean joined the business in 2002 and together with Jon’s wife Lily, they founded Basic Concepts in 2004, which was sold to Zing Toys in 2015.

After 3 years working at Zing, Dean left and started KADE with his wife Kat, a toy distribution business focused on Hong Kong and South East Asia. KANDYCO is their own brand of products, focused on bringing people together whenever people play with their products.
